At Fix-A-Ticket, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your personal information, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and our obligations as a paralegal practice regulated by the Law Society of Ontario.
We collect personal information you provide when contacting us or retaining our services, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred language, and the details of your matter. If you upload a ticket, summons or driver's license, we collect the information those documents contain, which may include your date of birth, license number and address.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Documents you send us are used only to review and conduct your matter.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as required by law, as necessary to conduct your matter (for example, with the court or prosecutor), or with service providers who help us operate the practice and who are bound to protect it.

You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, subject to our professional record keeping obligations. Contact us with any privacy related concerns.
Client files are retained for the period required by the Law Society of Ontario, after which they are securely destroyed.
